Free Pattern: Reusable Food Bag

When you want to ditch single-use plastic but still need a convenient way to store snacks, I have the perfect (less than) one-hour project for you!

This reusable food storage bag pattern is a simple, practical solution for packing snacks or sandwiches using food-safe materials. They are easy to clean, endlessly reusable, and a great alternative to plastic bags.

My preferred fabric for this fabric is laminated cotton from Splash Fabric. Their fabrics are free of PFAS or “forever chemicals.” Completely food safe in accordance with FDA specifications for food safety. Their fabrics are also completely biodegradable and made in a mill that is approved by OEKO-TEX.

With this project you will have a budget and earth friendly stylish and sustainable storage option in no time!
