April Mood Board
I find so much beauty in the desert.
The muted colors, the hidden beauty, the resilience.
The desert is a place of pure survival, but if you look closer, it is full of life. Full of adaptation.
Life for me right now is full of growth, adaptation and being comfortable with being uncomfortable. The desert is speaking to me. The saguaros bring shade, the prickly pears bring sweetness, the textures bring depth.
This month’s mood board brings you inspiration to look closer, look deeper. Not just at the world around you, but at yourself. What do you see at first glance? And then what do you see when you look closer?
When you see the Navajo weaving, do you see the design? The fibers? Or the hours of work and knowledge woven in?
When you see the cactus? Do you see the spines that could prick you? Or do you see the bird that has made the cactus home? Or how the spines are actually a form of leaf and provide shade and protection for the cactus?
Look closer this month at the world around you. See what you might not have seen before. Allow it to challenge your perception and be a bit uncomfortable.
I can’t wait to see what is inspiring you and what you create this month. Reach out and share with me your April inspiration and I hope you are able to bring it forward in your creative projects.
Ciao!
